Visit Vietnam

Vietnam is a vibrant country of 98 million inhabitants and is the 14th most densely populated country in the world. In 2015, 8 million tourists joined them. They came to visit the country´s beautiful cities, fantastic nature, and historic buildings. If you haven´t already visited this popular, Southeast Asian destination, then it´s time you did. This long country, which stretches between the two major cities of Hanoi (in the north) and Ho Chi Minh City (in the south), has many, incredible experiences to offer. Take part in one of the Asian celebrations, the “Full Moon Party”, which is held in Ha Long Bay in northern Vietnam, and many other places too. If the moon isn´t full during your stay, don´t let that stop you from enjoying a couple of nights in this spectacular bay, let your imagination run wild as you gaze at the rocky cliffs that rise majestically from the water, or explore the mysterious Ha Long Bay Caves.

Travel to South Vietnam

Travel south to the ancient city of Hué, once the imperial capital of Vietnam, to visit the impressive citadel, or “Purple Forbidden City”, which once boasted hundreds of rooms and 2 meter-thick walls, or hop on a scooter to tour this once elegant city of the nobility. Magnificent temples and imperial graves are waiting to be discovered. Step back in time in the exceptionally well-preserved historic quarter of Hoi An – an ancient trading port from the 15th to the 19th centuries, a city that is proud of its heritage and traditions – and has much to be proud of. Cars are not permitted in many of its narrow streets, and building restrictions on height are strictly enforced to preserve the town´s authentic atmosphere. Visit the town market, stroll through the narrow streets, pep up your wardrobe with a set of tailor-made clothes from one of the town´s many hundreds of tailors! Set aside a little time to visit the pretty, little French-inspired, mountain village of Da Lat and the equally lovely Phu Quoc-Islands, where the description “bounty island” was never more apt! We recommend you start or end your tour in one of the two major cities, Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Or why not start in one and finish in the other? These pulsating, big cities are full of things to see and do. They have it all – from museums, historic buildings (such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi) and impressive shopping centers to small green oases, intimate street kitchens, and bustling street markets, teeming with local life where you can find anything you could possibly need…or don´t need!
